Mr. Arbon

Spanish and English as a Second Language

My name is Lucas Arbon and I’ve been teaching since 2018. I love teaching. It’s been what I’ve

wanted to do for as long as I can remember. The only question I ever had was what I wanted to

teach. After I lived for a couple of years in Central America and that showed me what I wanted. I

grew a love for Spanish and it gave me a lot of empathy for those who have to live in a country

that speaks a different language. That’s why I ended up getting my degree in Spanish Education

and Teaching English as a Second Language.

While in college, I worked as one of their official tutors. During my time there, I tutored for

every level of Spanish class from the basics to the most advanced grammar classes offered. I

enjoyed getting to work one on one with students and getting to see them make sense of

something that they once thought was beyond their comprehension.
